The crowd is near, confused we feared,
long day and then We met, He found us cleaning net,
the boat is yours to use, go ahead and teach them all.
the crowd like His words, in Him their eyes are stock.
It’s coming to an end, He sent the crowds away
He turned to us and said, let down the nets to catch
We’re doing this all day, no fish are here, no way!!
We’ll do it on His word, we throw the nets accord;
The nets began to break, much help to pull them back.
A miracle yet we see, it is Jesus now I know,
Sinful man I am, away from me please stay,
You said, don’t be afraid, come, people you will catch,
We’ll follow Him today, and never get away.
The Calling of the Apostles Peter and Andrew, Duccio di Buoninsegna
Five loaves and two fish remain, we witness it again,
Five thousand people ate, enough, and there was more.
He told us time to go, aboard and there we go.
He didn’t come with us, alone to pray He went.
The time is going by, no sight of Him there is.
The wind is getting strong, we fight to move along.
Is it a ghost we see? It’s walking towards us.
Take courage, it is I, His voice I might have heard.
On water I will walk, if you’re the one who talks.
The first step I take, the water is my way.
I see Him in the wind, I am walking toward Him
The wind is so strong, the fear begins to grow.
I am sinking, I don’t know, help me I will die.
His hand came reaching me, I held it very tight
We are back into the boat, the wind is now remote
The Son of God He is, one more time we see.
Walking on water by Kume Bryant
It was just like He said, I turned away from Him,
three times, and I have said, this man I never met;
And now my soul fells dead, just like Him at that cross.
I wish I could repent, from what I said that day,
I want to run away, I am lost, I have to say;
I am going back to fish, at least that I know how,
Some others will come too, like old times we will do.
Long night this one has been, no fish that we have seen;
We are heading back to shore, this guy then shouts, one more!
The other side He says, to through the nets again.
We don’t know who he is, but we will try and see.
The amount of fish is great, Our net began to break,
A miracle again we see, it’s Him again, I Know.
He came to rescue us, I am swimming back again.
Christ’s appearance on Lake Tiberias by Duccio di Buoninsegna.
The son of God is back, the table He has set,
There is fish and bread for us, I don’t know what to say,
We are breaking bread again, remember the last time;
Three times I answer Him, I love You, now I know.
My life I will put down, to teach all, who You are.
Your grace in me abounds, Your love will never fail.
